Audi is raising the performance bar for its rowdy yet refined RS 5, the A5's RennSport high-performance variant crafted by Audi Sport GmbH. Powered by a bi-turbo V6 making 444 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, the Audi RS 5 boasts exhilarating acceleration and confidence-inspiring handling without sacrificing ride comfort. And like all Audi models, it delivers the automaker's trademark first-class accommodations and advanced yet intuitive technology.
The Audi RS 5 dials up the thrills with a maximum track speed of 155 mph in its base configuration or 174 mph with the Dynamic Plus package. For the 2023 model year, Audi has taken things to the next level, increasing the RS5's top track speed to 180 mph when equipped with the all-new exclusive Competition package.
Customers who order an RS 5 Coupe or Sportback with the Competition package will receive further handling upgrades to enhance the RS 5's already considerable driving dynamics, including a coilover suspension system with front and rear sport sway bars. Competition package models also equip unique 5-Y-spoke milled-cut wheels in Phantom Black finish wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires to support the increased speed. The Competition package setup sits 10mm lower than standard RS 5 models from the factory, while drivers can manually lower the ride height an additional 10mm. The new configuration gives the RS 5 even greater tracking ability,
The RS 5's famously boisterous exhaust note is made even more intense with the Competition package due to reduced insulation between the engine compartment and cabin. The decreased insulation was a purposeful measure to shave nearly 18 pounds off the car's curb weight and had the fortuitous benefit of complementing the exhaust note.
