But Audi recently announced that both models will receive a few notable updates to further enhance their style and performance, including a new Design Edition package and sophisticated powertrain tuning. The new Design Edition package is offered exclusively for 2023 S6 and S7 models and will be available to order starting this month.
- Liquid Dark Chrome Exterior Accents: The Design Edition features new Liquid Dark Chrome accents on the front and rear bumpers, underscoring the standard high-gloss Brilliant Black painted roof and Black Audi signature rings. The Liquid Dark Chrome accents harmonize with the full range of available S6 and S7 paint colors, including new Arrow Gray—a hue exclusive to S6 and S7 Design Edition models. Additionally, each model receives a distinguishing wheel design—Audi Sport 21-inch 5-V-spoke structured design cast-aluminum wheels on the S6 and 21-inch 5-V-spoke trapezoid design wheels on the S7.
- Sport Interior Composition: Already inherently sporty, 2023 S6 and S7 Design Edition models elevate the interior experience with exclusive Audi Sport design details. The lower console, knee pads, and gear selector feature Dinamica microfiber fabric upholstering for a sporty, high-class finish and feel. And the Valcona-leather-wrapped Black S sport seats add red accent stitching and black seatbelts with matching red edges.
- Improved Engine Response: 2023 S6 and S7 models features the first US-market application of Audi's electric powered compressor (EPC) system. Comprised of a small electric motor and turbine combination, the EPC pairs with the 444-horsepower twin-turbo TFSI V6 to enable more rapid boost build-up, resulting in sharper throttle response and less noticeable turbo lag.
