Highlights of the New 2025 Q5
Upon its release, shoppers will find the new Audi Q5 still uses the same powertrain - a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder. However, in the new model, the engine will output 268 horsepower and 295 lbs.-torque. The new Q5 is also suspected to have an estimated 22 mpg city and 30 mpg highway fuel economy.
As for the model's dimensions, these are relatively the same, though the style is completely different. The hood is now slightly dipped and slants towards the headlights, which are capped by slim LED daytime running lights. Below that, the hexagonal grille has been replaced by a mesh-rounded one that echoes the brand's four-ring logo.
Even the Interior measurements are practically identical. However, there is less headroom in the new Q5, but the leg and shoulder room remain about the same. Although the dimensions are similar, the cabin has been overhauled and offers a more modern look. Now, the Q5 sports an integrated 11.9-inch instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch touchscreen. There's also an optional 10.9-inch passenger display and a larger head-up display.
Standard on the upcoming Q5 is a robust suite of safety features. These include forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and road sign recognition. Other features are also standard and include Park Assist Plus, which is an automated parking feature.
